The Italian Open's record-breaking edition culminated with the final between Jannik Sinner and Casper Ruud. Over 400,000 tickets were sold, bringing ticketing revenue to €40 million; commercial revenue, including sponsorships (43 commercial partnerships), hospitality, and the fan village, reached €35 million; overall tournament revenue reached €90 million; and the Roman community's economy benefited by more than €1 billion. However, the Italian Tennis Federation is already planning the ATP Finals, which will take place in Turin beginning November 15 (in addition to the Davis Cup in Bologna). This will be the sixth annual men's tour final tournament, featuring the world's top eight players in a format that combines sport, entertainment, and innovation. The ATP Finals have thus become a barometer for state expenditure in sports. The tournaments held between 2021 and 2025 achieved excellent financial outcomes. In five years, 914,000 spectators have visited Turin. Italian spectators remain the majority, with roughly 69% coming from outside Turin, although the number of foreign fans has surpassed 18 percent. The ATP Finals have drawn almost €84 million in international investment over the course of five tournaments, thanks to spectators. However, in 2025 alone, the ATP Finals earned €591 million (€265 million from direct impact, €226 million from indirect impact, and €100 million from induced impacts). In five years, total income surpassed €2 billion.
