In the Nations Cup competition, featuring 1.50-meter obstacles, the Italian team secured second place after a thrilling jump-off against Ireland - a finale reminiscent of the memorable showdown between the two nations in Dublin in 2016. The event attracted 13 national teams from four continents, including Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Brazil, France, Ireland, Japan, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland. In total, more than 250 riders and 420 horses representing 33 countries took part in the competition. FISE President Marco Di Paola praised the team’s performance, stating: “This event confirmed the excellent form of our national squad.” In the individual Grand Prix, victory went to American rider Paris Sellon aboard Chad Blue PS, while Francesca Ciriesi achieved the best result among the Italian competitors. Attention now turns to the next major event on the international calendar: the prestigious five-star Nations Cup in Rome, scheduled for the end of May.
