Jannik Sinner made an impressive start to his Roland Garros campaign with a comfortable straight-sets victory over French wildcard Clément Tabur. The world No. 1 won 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 in just over two hours, advancing confidently to the second round in Paris. The Italian star extended his remarkable form, recording his 30th consecutive win of the season and his 19th straight victory in opening-round Grand Slam matches. Sinner once again showed why he is considered one of the favorites for the title after reaching last year’s final in Paris. Next up for the four-time Grand Slam champion will be Argentina’s Juan Manuel Cerundolo, currently ranked No. 56 in the world. Their only previous meeting came at Wimbledon 2023, where Sinner secured a dominant straight-sets victory.
