One table, four distant territories. For the first time in history, the lands where humanity ages best are sitting together not to study longevity, but to share it with the world in an international meeting. The event is scheduled for June 4th in Tortolì, which is located on the eastern coast of Sardinia. This region is home to the highest number of centenarians, along with Okinawa (Japan), Nicoya (Costa Rica), and Ikaria (Greece ). "The Longevity Experience, Connecting Sardinia Okinawa Nicoya Ikaria" is neither a scientific conference nor a business venture. Rather, it is a political and cultural event, the first formal step toward an alliance between the lands of longevity, motivated by the belief that there are places in the world where the secret to a long life is found not in laboratories, but in everyday gestures, ancient flavors, and the quality of silence. The project is the result of months of diplomatic relations between the participating countries' embassies and government representatives, with the goal of creating a global experiential tourism product that raises awareness of these sanctuaries of longevity and their extraordinary conditions.
