The Lancia Gamma, a classic brand in the Italian automotive industry, has returned. Designed, engineered, and developed in Italy, the new Lancia Gamma is produced at the Melfi plant, one of Stellantis’ most advanced manufacturing sites, and the first vehicles are already undergoing road testing. It is the first Lancia produced in Italy since the Delta was released in 2015, as well as the Turin-based manufacturer's first flagship since the Thema in 2011. Technically, the Gamma is a fastback crossover SUV built on Stellantis' STLA Medium platform. It is powered by a 145 hp hybrid engine, which is joined by electric versions with a 230 hp engine with a range of 540 km, a 245 hp engine with a range of 740 km, and the HF Integrale AWD variation with a 375 hp engine and a range of 675 km. The new Gamma will be Lancia's second offensive leg following the new Ypsilon, and it is expected to arrive before the flagship Thema and Delta HF Integrale return. Orders are set to open after the summer of 2026. Fans of the Turin brand are eagerly awaiting its comeback.
