After conquering the music charts, Sal da Vinci is preparing for a new challenge: the world of animated films. The Italian singer, who recently won the Sanremo Music Festival, finished fifth at the Eurovision Song Contest and achieved international recognition with his hit song “Per sempre sì,” has joined the cast of Disney Pixar’s upcoming Toy Story 5. Known for blending the rich tradition of Neapolitan music with a contemporary sound, Da Vinci will lend his voice to Pizza cu ’e llente, a member of a small but resilient community of forgotten toys living in Blaze’s old toy house. In the original English-language version, the character is voiced by global music star Bad Bunny, making Da Vinci the Italian counterpart to one of the world’s biggest artists. In the film, Pizza cu ’e llente and the other toys face a formidable modern rival: Lilypad, a cutting-edge tablet determined to capture the attention of Bonnie, the young owner of the toys. As technology threatens to replace traditional playtime, the toys must rely on teamwork and friendship if they hope to prevail.
