On Monday, Jannik Sinner had a number of medical tests at Milan's San Raffaele Hospital, which is one of the country's premier healthcare facilities. The tests were set in recent days to look into the reason of the illness that prompted the South Tyrolean champion to postpone his Roland Garros campaign. The tennis player left the hospital late in the morning, accompanied by Professor Alberto Zangrillo, a well-known physician. Sinner appeared calm as he left, but he declined to speak with the journalists present, restricting himself to a quick greeting. Following an incident during his match against Argentine Francisco Cerúndolo and a few days of recovery in Sardinia, the 24-year-old Italian opted to conduct essential tests to identify the source of the physical condition. According to reports in the Italian press, the testing revealed no particularly alarming symptoms. The world number one's first priority is now Wimbledon, the most renowned grass-court tournament on the international circuit, which is set to take place in London in the coming weeks. Sinner has elected to forego the usual British Slam preparation tournaments at Halle, Germany, and the Queen's Club in London in order to focus on his recovery.
