Minister Adolfo Urso opened the Made in Italy House in Brindisi, bringing the total number of Houses open countrywide to 25. The facility, located within the Brindisi-Taranto Chamber of Commerce, will act as a hub for local enterprises, providing easy access to services and growth prospects. The Made in Italy Houses are structures developed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy to act as access points and connect enterprises and citizens. Their primary responsibilities include the promotion, enhancement, and protection of Made in Italy products, the provision of tangible support to businesses, and the monitoring of local markets. They are specifically designed for SMEs in order to better understand their needs and detect any signals of trouble early on. The Ministry has also signed a three-year agreement with the Italian Exhibition and Trade Fair Association (AEFI) to expand the Houses' presence at major national trade fairs, with the goal of assisting small and medium-sized businesses in internationalizing and accessing global markets.
