Florence reclaims its title as the world capital of men's fashion with the grand opening of Pitti Uomo 110. Until Friday, June 19, the historic spaces of the Fortezza da Basso will host exclusive previews and trends for Spring/Summer 2027, navigating a complex macroeconomic landscape shaken by international tensions.
The event's numbers solidify the strength of its format: 740 brands are present, with 45% arriving from over thirty countries worldwide. "We possess the expertise to face these new challenges. Pitti Uomo is not merely a commercial event; it is a cultural promoter," stated Antonio De Matteis, President of Pitti Immagine. Newly appointed CEO Ivano Cauli reiterated the vital role of the physical fair as an irreplaceable compass for steering the global market.
The exhibition path unfolds across six thematic sections, including the newly introduced "Hi Beauty" hub dedicated to avant-garde perfumery. The visual theme for this edition is "The Pool," drawing creative inspiration from the crisp, brilliant tones found in the pool paintings of the late contemporary art master David Hockney. Anticipation is high for the headline Guest Designer, Irish stylist Simone Rocha, who will debut her first independent runway show entirely dedicated to menswear on Thursday, June 18, at the Teatro della Pergola.
