The decree governing the foundation, management, and operation of the National Register of Commercial Activities, Artisan Workshops, and Historic Public Establishments was signed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. "These are genuine examples of excellence that constitute an important element of Italy's economic, commercial, and artisanal heritage. Protecting and promoting them means strengthening the country's productive fiber and expanding Italy's appeal, as well as raising the value and prestige of Made in Italy products around the world", declared Minister of Business Adolfo Urso. Businesses that have already been recognized by regional, provincial, municipal, and metropolitan city registers will be immediately included into the National Register, which will be controlled by MIMIT and made available on the institution's website, assuring accurate mapping.
