The summer solstice coincided with the transformation of Milan's Piazza Gae Aulenti into an unexpected urban relaxing paradise. Bluserena, a classic Italian hotel brand, celebrated its 40th anniversary by installing the world's largest deckchair: a massive edifice three stories high and nine meters long that dominated the city center until yesterday. "The deckchair is a profoundly Italian symbol, evoking family, friends, and the pleasure of slowing down", added CEO Marcello Cicalò. "With this initiative, we want to remind people that Italian holidays represent an extraordinary asset for the country, made up of hospitality, the beauty of the landscape, and human connections".
