MP Emanuele Pozzolo faces additional legal challenges. The Prefecture of Biella suspended his driver's license for a year, twice the minimum statutory punishment of six months. This step comes after a traffic incident on the Biella-Vigliano highway on June 2nd, in which the MP drove off the road while alone in his vehicle. Although no other vehicles were involved in the accident, and Pozzolo exited his vehicle without suffering any major injuries, later police inspections worsened his situation. A breathalyzer test revealed that the MP had a blood alcohol level that was double the legal limit. Pozzolo explained his decision by claiming that he was driving after lunch and lost control due to a violent storm. In addition to a twelve-month driving suspension, the MP will now have to go through standard medical exams to recover his driver's license. This incident adds to the MP's previous legal background, since he was previously convicted in October 2025 to one year and three months in prison for illegal possession of a weapon in connection with the infamous shooting at the New Year's Eve party in 2024.
