The Board of Directors of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane met yesterday and accepted Stefano Antonio Donnarumma's official resignation from his posts as CEO and General Manager. The news was announced in a formal company statement, in which Chairman Tommaso Tanzilli, on behalf of the entire board, thanked Donnarumma for his dedication, professionalism, and contribution to leading the group in achieving its strategic goals and developing key industrial programs. The manager's resignation marks the start of a transition period, but the company assures markets and institutions that it is operationally stable. The Board of Directors indicated that it will immediately begin the procedures required to assure full continuity of the group's governance and operations, in accordance with the bylaws and relevant regulations. FS Italiane also reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the ongoing Industrial Plan, which ensures management continuity, efficiency, and the full implementation of strategic investment initiatives to support the country's mobility.
