The Silverstone Grand Prix ended with a frantic last ten laps, giving Charles Leclerc a stunning victory and Ferrari its historic 250th Formula One World Championship triumph. The Monegasque finished ahead of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton, who had a five-second penalty for a false start. The Maranello team benefited from Kimi Antonelli's mechanical issue with ten laps remaining, which was caused by a severe accident with the curb that damaged his wheel shield. The championship leader eventually finished sixteenth and outside the points after receiving a penalty for exceeding track limits. Max Verstappen was also eliminated after spinning out at Stowe Corner while chasing Hamilton. Although the Safety Car was deployed, Ferrari was unable to secure a one-two finish, as the final pit stop allowed Russell to overtake Hamilton. This was Leclerc's ninth career victory. Antonelli currently leads the drivers' standings with 179 points, although his lead over Russell has narrowed to 25 points, while Leclerc has increased to 108.
