The fifth round of the 2026 Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe concluded at the Portimão circuit, where more than 30 Ferrari 296 Challenge cars battled it out around the undulating Portuguese track. Sergio Paulet (Ineco – Reparto Corse RAM) completed a double in the Trofeo Pirelli and, with two rounds remaining, moved another step closer to the title. Michael Verhagen (Ferrari Warszawa) also secured a weekend double in Trofeo Pirelli Am by winning today's race. Ernst Kirchmayr (Kessel Racing) triumphed in Coppa Shell after leading from start to finish, while Jean Ryu (Kessel Racing) claimed his sixth consecutive victory in Coppa Shell Am. Over the weekend at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, where Ferrari official driver Miguel Molina served as Race Advisor, the Maranello manufacturer also unveiled the 2027 calendar for the European series.
