Following weeks of discussions, Nigerian striker Akor Adams has joined Venezia FC. It is the most expensive transaction in the Venetian club's history. Born in 2000, Adams scored 10 goals in 32 La Liga appearances last season for Sevilla and arrives carrying the weight of expectations that has already excited Venezia supporters. Adams has signed a contract with the orange-and-green club, which was promoted to Serie A this year, that will last until June 30, 2030. The deal is worth €16 million, plus a further €4 million in bonuses, bringing its total value to around €23 million. In 2018, the Nigerian attacker made his professional debut with Norwegian club Sogndal IL. He's been playing in the elite leagues since 2023. In 49 games for Montpellier HSC in France, he scored 13 goals and assisted five others. He joined Sevilla FC in January 2025 and concluded his career with 10 goals and four assists in 37 games. He appeared twice for Nigeria's Under-20 squad and 15 times for the senior national team, scoring six goals.
