Three hundred million euros in mini development contracts have been allocated by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy to support companies across the automotive supply chain. The measure follows a decree issued on June 10th that refinanced the Automotive Fund to accelerate the green transition and foster advanced technologies for sustainable, autonomous, connected, and safe mobility, in line with European decarbonization and emissions reduction targets. Eligible programs must focus on the development, engineering, testing, and production of next-generation vehicles, low-emission powertrains, advanced components, or strategic industrial conversion toward high-intensity R&D. These capital investments can also be paired with industrial research projects, experimental development, and staff training initiatives, with training capped at 10% of total project expenditure.
