Intesa Sanpaolo is bolstering the international expansion of the Italian manufacturing system with a new mission to the United States that is exclusively dedicated to 12 Italian SMEs with significant international development potential and a high level of innovation. These SMEs are located in a variety of critical districts, particularly in the aerospace industry, and were recognized by the Bank in partnership with Innovit (Italian Innovation and Culture Hub) for their potential expansion in Silicon Valley. The mission is a component of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group's global strategy to assist the positioning of Italian industry abroad. Specifically, the activities of the Banca dei Territori Division, led by Stefano Barrese, are designed to finance new initiatives and establish offices abroad for Italian SMEs, facilitate their interactions with foreign investors, and support the international development of high-tech sectors that are critical to the global growth of the Italian economy. The small and medium-sized aerospace companies, identified together with INNOVIT among the more than 200,000 SME clients of Intesa Sanpaolo’s Banca dei Territori Division, are from a diverse range of key yet representative areas of Italian business. These companies include ALI (Naples), APR (Turin), Bercella (Parma), Bisiach&Carrù (Turin), Bright Solutions (Pavia), Cospal Composites (Bergamo), Curti (Ravenna), Dino Paoli (Reggio Emilia), Leas (Padua), Netgroup (Naples), Novation Tech (Treviso), and SAB Aerospace (Benevento).
