The overall value of internet bookings reached 87.6 million euros, up 57% from 55.8 million in 2025. With the end of the 2026 summer season, Spiagge.it and inpiscina.it, the main Italian platforms for digitalization and booking of beach services and aquatic facilities, provide a report on the recently finished tourism season. Over 1.48 million online bookings were made via the group's portals, representing a 64% rise year on year. Beach establishments, particularly Spiagge.it, contributed to this outcome. It alone earned €73.5 million in bookings (50% more than in 2025), with inpiscina.it contributing €14.1 million (+107%). Looking at the number of bookings by region, Puglia remains the most popular on Spiagge.it, followed by Campania and Sicily. Furthermore, an increasing number of foreign tourists are making their beach reservations online. Bookings on the Spiagge.it platform climbed from 632,000 to 954,000 (+51%), while those from foreign travelers increased from 124,000 to 206,000 (+66%). Foreign demand is expanding at a far greater rate than local demand.
