Hundreds of drones light up above Rome's Stadio Olimpico, creating an unmistakable logo: Oasis. The Manchester duo formally announces their return to the Eternal City, following their last appearance in February 2009, the year in which the group disbanded. After their 2024 reunion and the next year's global tour, brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher are ready to return to their European fans, and this time, their Italian supporters will not be disappointed. A video of a red Vespa driving through the streets of Trastevere appeared on the band's social media profiles a few days ago, providing a clear hint. Everyone is now excitedly awaiting the announcement of the dates, which are most likely in the summer of 2027. Meanwhile, fans aren't the only ones celebrating. "Oasis in Rome. Thank you for choosing our city; we look forward to seeing you", tweeted Alessandro Onorato, Rome's councilor for major events, on social media, basically confirming their return.
