A new edition of Milano Fashion&Jewels has taken place. The expo featured approximately 600 products, 44% of which were foreign from 31 nations, including enterprises from the Mediterranean region, Asia, and South America. This edition's offering was also significantly more dynamic, with 33% of new exhibitors. The fair was separated into two main regions. 'Jewellery' was solely dedicated to fashion jewelry, offering everything from contemporary bijoux to the most elegant designs. 'Fashion Accessories & Apparel', on the other hand, provided a complete total look for women by mixing fashion accessories and ready-to-wear collections while also previewing spring/summer 2027 trends. The expo is held in a global context that is currently experiencing a slowdown. In 2025, the global Fashion & Jewels supply chain market reached approximately €294 billion. According to ExportPlanning's first predictions for 2026, global supply chain commerce will drop by 2.7% in the first half of the year compared to the same time in 2025, with a total decline of roughly 1%. However, the picture for 2027 is favorable, with growth of roughly 3% predicted. In this situation, Italy continues to play an important role: in 2025, exports from the Fashion & Jewelry supply chain were €19.4 billion, and the figure is predicted to exceed €19 billion in 2026.
