The Peace Torch has set off from Rome’s Capitoline Hill on a journey promoted by Peace Run and Colors for Peace. On the occasion of the International Day of Peace, the Italian capital became the focal point of a global message of peace, solidarity, and hope. An intense morning of talks, symbolic ceremonies, and art exhibitions brought together local institutions and international organizations to foster cross-cultural discourse through children's vision and creativity. Following the opening ceremony at the Capitoline Hill, the heart of the day was the Colosseum, where the "Colors of Peace" exhibition was inaugurated along the Via Sacra, featuring 1,000 drawings by children from 153 countries on the theme of peace. A unique section of 250 drawings by students from Rome's schools was also included as part of an educational project sponsored by the Presidency of the Capitoline Assembly and the Department of Education, Training, and Labor of Rome Capitale. The initiative is also accompanied by the project "Children of South Asia Draw Peace", supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
