InnoTrans, the biennial trade fair for the railway and mobility sector, has opened in Berlin. The 2026 edition, which celebrates the event's 30th anniversary, brings together the whole value chain in five subject areas: railroad technology, railroad infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. The fair covers around 200,000 square metres of exhibition space and the 2024 edition attracted almost 3,000 exhibitors from 59 countries and around 170,000 visitors from 133 countries. A total of 213 Italian exhibitors are taking part in InnoTrans 2026. The Italian Trade Agency (ITA) is present with an institutional position to promote the internationalization of Italian enterprises and attract foreign investment to Italy. ITA's FDI Desk and the Invest in Italy program facilitate investment opportunities in the mobility and railroad technology sectors, as well as facilitate interactions between international investors, Italian companies, and institutions.
