Ferrero is confirming its policy of bonuses as one of the most generous in Italy’s industrial sector. The corporation and the unions have reached an agreement that sets the bonus for the fiscal year 2025/2026 at €2,730 for its 7,000 Italian employees, both blue-collar and white-collar. This figure is not a coincidence; it was already agreed upon in 2023, when the parties established a three-year plan with increasing amounts: €2,450 for 2023/2024, €2,580 for 2024/2025, and €2,730 for the present year. This number puts Ferrero far above the average: according to the Ministry of Labor, the productivity bonus received in Italy averages roughly €1,500-1,600 per year, for approximately 4-5 million workers in 12,000 companies. In Ferrero's case, the real compensation differs between each factory because the calculation is based 30% on the group's overall economic performance and 70% on the performance of each specific site. Those who desire can convert a portion of the bonus into welfare benefits via the "Ferrero Care" program, resulting in an additional contribution from the employer.
