The two music stars married in a secret ceremony in Montalcino, Italy's Val d'Orcia, surrounded by hills, rows of cypress trees, and Brunello wineries. Mayor Silvio Franceschelli will officiate the couple’s wedding at the town hall, also known as the Palazzo dei Priori, which had previously hosted the wedding of Italian singer-songwriter Paola Turci and Francesca Pascale, Silvio Berlusconi’s former partner. The posting of the marriage banns in recent days had effectively confirmed earlier reports. The newlyweds and their guests will next celebrate in Castiglion del Bosco, a luxurious estate in the Val d'Orcia region that spans 2,000 hectares outside Montalcino. The facility has also welcomed many VIPs, including Paul McCartney in 2012 for his seventieth birthday and Barack Obama in 2017 for a game of golf.
