Hundreds of extraordinary places, many of which are inaccessible or little-known, will open their doors for the 15th edition of the FAI Autumn Days, a major street event dedicated to the valorization of Italy's cultural and landscape heritage, which will take place across the country on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th. The initiative, which spans 700 sites in 350 cities, encourages the public to explore the vast historical, artistic, and environmental heritage that envelops us. Visitors are granted access to these sites for a period of two days for a voluntary donation, during which they will develop a shared narrative of monuments, architecture, landscapes, artworks, traditions, and stories that represent the regions and the communities that inhabit them. The proposed openings will be as diverse and unexpected as ever, ranging from monumental structures to theaters, from churches to educational institutions, from natural areas to castles, and including art collections, examples of contemporary architecture, and unusual and curious sites. In this edition, the FAI will focus on Italian craftsmanship and Made in Italy, emphasizing - through special openings and visits - the knowledge, ancient crafts, manufacturing traditions, and manufacturing excellence that, in conjunction with historical, artistic, and landscape assets, define the identity of the regions and establish Italy as a global reference point.
