The 66th edition of the International Boat Show will be held from October 1st to 6th in the new Waterfront di Levante, which will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. The numbers are unprecedented: over a thousand boats on exhibit, 215 new launches, 45 nationalities from five continents, and a 4% increase in water area. The move to October is expected to bring major shipyards and larger yachts back to the city, while multihulls are up 28%. Among the previews that have been announced are the Frauscher 797 Spectre, the Pirelli 44 and Hyper 5S maxi-RIBs from Sacs Marine, the latest Saxdor models with the Simrad AutoCaptain automatic maneuvering system, and the 13.50-meter walkaround from Cantiere Mimì. The Zefiro, a foiling, electric, carbon fiber project designed for superyacht tenders, transfers, and short-range trips, will also make its debut. Away from the ocean, the Blue Arena at the new Palasport will focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, training, and maritime vocations. The first two days will be dedicated to TechTrade Days B2B, culminating with the Design Innovation Award ceremony on October 2nd. Finally, the Fuori Salone event will bring events and initiatives around the city.
