The "ApritiModa" event will return on October 24th and 25th with a weekend dedicated to discovering the regions where Made in Italy is born. The event, organized by journalist Cinzia Sasso, strives to highlight Italy's unique tradition of innovation, competence, and know-how, which is admired and coveted around the world. ApritiModa was founded ten years ago with 14 venues in Milan and the goal of making an exclusive world available to the general people. It has now expanded to over 100 locations in every region, including fashion companies, ateliers, manufacturers, and artisan workshops. From internationally recognized major names to modest, local excellences, each opening tells a tale about Italian quality. The public has also embraced this expansion, increasing from 16,000 visits in the first edition to over 50,000 requests in the most recent edition. The website has received over 1 million interactions (clicks, scrolling, and reservations). ApritiModa celebrates the incredible diversity of a sector that is a pillar of the country's cultural and economic identity, ranging from traditional haute couture firms to the most inventive and experimental. Several ateliers specializing in wedding dresses, such Anna Renzi Brivio, Cecilia Gerosa, Antonio Riva, and Poesie Spose, have been added to the 2026 edition, demonstrating how a tradition can still be renewed with a modern perspective. On the island of Giudecca, Hydro Mirò will make its debut. The Venetian workshop specialises in producing upholstery for gondolas, preserving a unique craft deeply rooted in the culture of the lagoon. Mario Talarico, the umbrella maker to the British royal family, will be making his début in Naples. In Milan, Leu Locati will showcase the creation of the bag selected by Elizabeth II, as well as the process of creating all other jewel-like bags.
