Donald Trump in the United States has accelerated the intelligence dossier. Artificial intelligence (also referred to as "Super Intelligence" in official documents) is also becoming a hot topic in Italy. The latest survey by the UniSalute Healthcare Observatory, conducted in conjunction with Nomisma and dedicated to the relationship between AI and mental well-being, indicates that one in ten Italians (10%) have already employed artificial intelligence to manage emotional difficulties, stress, or anxiety, often with positive results. However, concerns regarding its use in the psychological field remain prevalent. Although those who have already used an AI psychologist have had positive experiences (approximately two out of three), the vast majority of the general population feels that AI cannot replace human specialists. What concerns Italians the most about communicating with a chatbot on psychological issues? First and foremost, responses that are excessively complacent or insufficiently critical (43%), which are a result of the tools' inclination to indulge the user. However, one of the greatest risks is that Artificial Intelligence could pose the greatest challenge to the future of human expertise. This is the warning issued by Meritocrazia Italia, which believes that the true threat is not technology itself, but the progressive replacement of the training, experience, and sacrifice that allow people to develop strong skills and abilities. For this reason, Meritocrazia Italia will introduce a bill on "human limitations," with the goal of ensuring that Artificial Intelligence remains a tool at the service of humanity rather than a replacement for professional competence, study, and merit.
