Four days of meetings, stories, emotions, and sports. The ninth Trento Sports Festival, devoted to the "Invincibles", ended with an incredible success, with roughly 60,000 attendees. From October 1st to 4th, the city welcomed champions, coaches, managers, journalists, and important characters in Italian and international sports, transforming theaters, squares, ancient buildings, and iconic locations into one large, spread-out stage. Over 150 activities filled the sporting event's days, with a schedule spanning varied disciplines, generations, and histories: from legendary Olympic accomplishments to athlete personal stories, from the most popular to the least well-known sports. "This year, too", highlighted Maurizio Fugatti, President of the Autonomous Province of Trento, "the results are positive, and the numbers, squares, and streets of Trento, where we felt a special enthusiasm, speak for themselves. Approximately 60,000 people participated, with crowded venues and a large attendance in the squares due to the nice weather. This edition confirmed the Festival's relevance for Trentino and, more broadly, for sports information, reinforcing our region's status as a hub for world sport". "We can also be particularly pleased with the words of RCS president Urbano Cairo and his appreciation, which confirm Trento’s role as a city of sport", he further stated. More than 300 figures from world sport took to the stages at the venues hosting the Trento Festival.
