In Toronto, filmmaker Marco Bellocchio is directing his crew on his current project, ‘Falcon’, a film on the life of Sergio Marchionne, a corporate leader who died in 2018 and played a crucial part in Fiat's restructuring efforts during the 2000s. Louis Garrel, a French actor who was recently featured in Nanni Moretti's "It Will Happen Tonight" (2026), which was selected for competition at the most recent Venice International Film Festival, is also currently involved in the project. He will portray John Elkann, the heir to the Agnelli family. The cast also includes Benedetta Cimatti, Barbara Ronchi, and Pierfrancesco Favino, who will act as Marchionne, Elkann's mentor. Both of these individuals were instrumental in the car company's rescue and its drive into the US market. The film is currently in production, with no cinema release date announced yet. Valeria Bruni Tedeschi is also expected to make a cameo appearance.
