Max Verstappen secured a personal double by winning the Singapore Grand Prix, eight days after his victory at Sepang. Red Bull's four-time world champion completed a spotless weekend at the Marina Bay street circuit, winning pole position, the Sprint race, and claiming his first victory at the prestigious night-time event. Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) trailed the Dutchman, followed by young Italian star Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes). The 17-year-old took advantage of Lewis Hamilton's last battle with Lando Norris to finish third and extend his overall lead. Antonelli now has a 102-point lead over teammate George Russell (340 to 238), a comfortable margin that will allow him to clinch the world championship as early as the upcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. The McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri round out the top five, with the latter making a final-lap run on a Hamilton struggling with tire issues. Mercedes maintains a commanding lead among constructors, with 578 points to Ferrari's 444, but Red Bull continues to climb, closing in on McLaren for third place by just seven points. The championship now proceeds to the Caribbean and North America for the season's final races, with the young Antonelli set to write a chapter in modern motorsport history.
