This is long-awaited news for lovers of Neapolitan elegance. The iconic Neapolitan tailoring firm, founded in 1932, debuted its first women's line in Milan with a trunk show in the courtyard of its flagship store in the Quadrilatero neighborhood. The maison is now run by the third generation: Luca Rubinacci, CEO and creative director since 2002, noted that his mother began designing women's clothing in the atelier on Via Filangieri in the 1980s and 1990s, and that the increased demand for women's bespoke work led to ready-to-wear. Following Italy, America is the brand's primary foreign market. The spring/summer 2027 line has double-breasted jackets, coats, polo shirts, and high-waisted palazzo pants in Tasmanian wool in the summer and cashmere in the winter, all 100% made in Italy. The collection will be available in Milan on Via Gesù, in London’s Mayfair, in Naples on Via Chiaia and online. For fans of Italian history and cinema, the event showcased historic pieces such as a 1936 coat created for King Umberto of Savoy and a 1935 tailcoat designed for Vittorio De Sica and used in the film "Mr. Max".
