The Lazio region is set to become home to Longevity Valley, an ambitious international campus dedicated to longevity science and preventive medicine. At the Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C., the Longevity Valley Authority, in conjunction with a network of global businesses and investors, officially presented the initiative. The program seeks to establish a cutting-edge scientific and industrial hub complete with shared laboratories and innovative technologies based on artificial intelligence, bioengineering, and automation. The initiative, closely controlled by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy through the CAIE's Technical Secretariat, is part of the Lazio Region's institutional mission to the United States, which is managed by President Francesco Rocca and Vice President Roberta Angelilli. The goal is to strengthen Italy's position as a worldwide hub in a critical sector capable of attracting foreign investment and creating skilled jobs. Minister Adolfo Urso underlined that the program displays the country's tangible ability to work with institutions and private individuals to convert large investments into development prospects. President Rocca reiterated this attitude, highlighting Lazio's biotechnology leadership: the new campus will translate local knowledge into innovative solutions to improve inhabitants' health and quality of life. To assist investors, the Region has launched the Invest in Lazio platform and the Consorzio Unico Industriale, with the goal of streamlining the bureaucratic procedure and guiding every stage of a project deemed historic for the area.
