Doors are officially open at the Lingotto Fiere exhibition center in Turin for the latest edition of the Student and Professor Fair (Salone dello Studente e del Prof), Italy's leading post-graduation guidance platform. Running through tomorrow, the two-day event is drawing over 15,000 young attendees, who can explore offerings from 95 different institutions, including universities, higher education schools, ITS academies, and specialized training centers, alongside a robust schedule of 25 free workshops and seminars for both students and educators.
A major focus of this year’s convention is digital safeguarding and protecting youth online, spotlighted in the opening panel titled "Security and Cyberbullying: From the Web to Reality." Music education also takes center stage - serving as the official cultural focus for the 2026–27 term - highlighted by a virtual appearance from renowned Maestro Uto Ughi during the seminar "Music is the Future: Training, Talent, and Professions."
Entrepreneurship and the heritage of Made in Italy round out the core pillars of the convention, championed by the Imprese e Competenze per il Made in Italy foundation. The goal is to bridge the gap between formal education and the industrial sector, emphasizing modern skills that honor traditional craftsmanship. Elisa Mazzetti, export manager for the historic Mazzetti d'Altavilla distillery, is on-site to share her firsthand industry experience.
