The Italian business environment is thriving, confirming an expansionary trend that will benefit the entire national economy. According to the Movimprese quarterly poll performed by Unioncamere and InfoCamere, between July and September, the Business Register had a positive balance of 18,403 enterprises (+0.32%), the highest figure since 2021. The evolution of the corporate form is driving the Italian economy: joint-stock enterprises account for nearly 79% of the total increase (+14,529 units), suggesting a progressive reorganization and modernization of the production system. This phenomena shows a widespread rebound touching nearly all manufacturing and service sectors, with 18 of 19 sectors in favorable positions and a considerable return to growth in agriculture, commerce, and traditional manufacturing. Construction, hotel, and professional activities account for more than half of the overall rise, with energy, finance, and digital innovation sectors showing the most dramatic development in percentage terms. Geographically, the expansion encompasses the entire country: Southern Italy leads the way in absolute numbers of new registrations, while the key economic and administrative hubs of Lombardy and Lazio shine out at the regional and provincial levels, led by Milan and Rome's urban marketplaces.
