Algiers - Thanks to a contract for the construction of an integrated steel plant with a 2 million tons per year capacity, Danieli heads to Algeria. The Italian Trade Agency revealed the two billion dollar value of the investment, including infrastructure. The technological side - machines, automation and assistance - has been entrusted to the Buttrio group, whose contract is worth approximately $750 million. The contract was signed by the President of the Algerian Qatari Steel, Hasnaoui Chiboub, and Danieli President and CEO, Gianpietro Benedetti, in the presence of the Algerian Minister of Industry, Abdessalam Bouchouareb, the Jijel Wali (President of the Province), Ali Bedrici, and the CEO of Aqs, Abdulla Ali Al-Buainain.
