Overworld: the University of Parma bets on extra-European exchanges

June 8 - Student mobility, as well as educational and scientific cooperation with non-European partner universities. This is the goal for the University of Parma’s Overworld program, approved in the spring by University Board to offer PhD students, trainees, teachers and researchers new opportunities for cultural enrichment and scientific progress in extra-EU universities. It is an action that supports and reinforces the mobility program Erasmus +, aimed at strengthening the international dimension of the University of Parma, to make its students and researchers more competitive on the labor market and in scientific careers. In total, the university has allocated €400,000 for the program, with half of the budget devoted to educational and scientific projects and the other half for student mobility. Funded activities must take place between 1 October 2015 and 30 September 2016 in an non-EU institution with which Parma University has an agreement as of 30 September 2015. (Red)
