(October 11, 2017) The Italian Institute of Culture of Pretoria has organised a rich calendar of events for the 17th Week of Italian Language in the World (16-22 October, 2017), dedicated to "Italian at the cinema, Italian in the cinema". The various events have been organised in collaboration with some important local and Italian cultural institutions. All events are held in English and are free to attend. The Week opens with the award ceremony of the online contest "Cinema & Fashion. Your icon of Italian fashion in cinema" aimed at students from the Department of Italian Studies at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg. The ceremony will take place on Tuesday October 17th at 10:00 in the Seminar Room in the Humanity Graduate Centre of the University of the Witswatersrand.
