Forty Parmigiano Reggiano producers join together in participating in the World Cheese Awards in London from Thursday November 16th until Sunday November 19th. 3,000 different cheese from 30 countries will be showcased at the fair. 250 experts from all over the world - international buyers, traders, journalists, and cheese producers - will examine samples to identify those worthy of a bronze, silver, or a gold medal. Each table will also select the 'Super Gold' cheese that will go before the jury's last round before the World Champion cheese announcement is broadcast live on WCA TV worldwide. The 40 National Parmigiano Reggiano dairies will have to defend the National Parmigiano Reggiano team in London, which represents the most important group of the competing dairies - a record that has no precedent in the 200 year - history of the great cheese competitions - which began with the 19th-century Universal Exhibitions.
