Dr. Giuseppe Cicero graduated with honors from the University of Tor Vergata, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry in Rome and was accepted in the Postgraduate Periodontology programme at New York University where he attended three years of periodontal surgery and implant dentistry. He has been selected by Forbes magazine to be featured among the 30 most influential young people in the medical field in Europe for the year 2018. He is considered one of those young people who, thanks to the research and use of new technologies, have an active role in the development of medicine. He received the prestigious award that features him among the "30 under 30 Europe list" last January 22nd in London. Giuseppe Cicero, who now divides his time between Rome, New York, and Madrid, where he teaches at the European University, has devised and developed a start-up called Oral 3D that is allowing dentists all over the world to use the latest generation of instruments such as 3D printers for bone reconstruction, used only in very few dental offices until recently given the high costs for both doctors and patients.
