The first

(January 29th) The first event in the "Exile and Creativity" Series will be held on Tuesday February 20th, at the Italian Institute of Culture in New York from 18:00 to 20:00. The project aims at highlighting the stories of many Italians forced to leave Italy for political or racial reasons to come to the United States, and tries to understand how their exile has influenced not only the individual paths and lives of many Italian artists and intellectuals between the two wars, but also how it has changed the Italian and American cultural landscape. The first of the eight events which will take place throughout the year, dedicated to Enrico Fermi, is a conversation between writer David N. Schwartz, author of the biography of Enrico Fermi "The Last Man Who Knew Everything", and William Allen Zajc, physics Professor at Columbia University. In collaboration with Edoardo Camurri, writer, journalist, and TV/radio host and moderated by Mario Calvo Platero. (9colonne) It is a conversation between writer David N.
