Education for Judges and Magistrates, Italy-Niger cooperation thanks to Sant’Anna

Cooperation between Italy and Niger is consolidated thanks to the contribution of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. For the first time, our country has organised a training course for 20 magistrates and Nigerian judges, titled "Education for Educators", with the decisive support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. The lessons will start tomorrow, Tuesday, August 28th, in Niamey and are part of the project coordinated by Andrea de Guttry, international law professor and director of the Istituto Dirpolis (Law, Politics, Development) of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Niger is a priority country for Italian cooperation and this project, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in collaboration with the Nigerian Ministry of Justice and the Magistrates School of Niger, intends to enhance the skills and competences of twenty Nigerian judges and magistrates.
