From August 28th to September 2nd the 15th edition of the "European Cinema Meeting" will take place in Ushuaia, Argentina, with a wide variety of film screenings and short films from 13 European countries. The "2018 European Film Meeting" is sponsored by the Delegation of the European Union in Argentina. This event is made possible thanks to the commitment of the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden, in addition to logistical support and coordination of the EUNIC of Buenos Aires. Italy participates with a documentary film, Fuocoammare by Gianfranco Rosi, winner of the "Golden Bear" Award at the 66th edition of the Berlin Film Festival in 2016. The film will be screened on August 29th at 19:30 at the Biblioteca Popular Sarmiento. (9Colonne)
