The international musicological conference on "Three works on Don Giovanni composed for Prague" will be held on September 22nd - 23rd as part of the Baroque Culture in Český Krumlov, Czech Republic. Musicologists from different countries, including Italy, will discuss the works "La pravità castigata" (1730) by Antonio Caldara, "Il convitato di pietra" (1776) by Vincenzo Righini and "Don Giovanni" (1787) by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart . The conference is part of the 11th edition of the Baroque Arts Festival in Český Krumlov. The event was organised by the Department of Music History of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Baroque Culture Centre of Český Krumlov and the Czech Mozart Society, under the patronage of the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague.
