(12 September 2018) For its 3rd anniversary, the Italian bookshop in Boston I AM Books announces the Italian literature and culture festival. The two-day festival, IDEA Boston, will take place on November 2nd and 3rd at the Dante Alighieri building in Cambridge. Massachusetts. "We want to bring to our corner of the United States a great festival of Italian and Italian-American culture", says Nicola Orichuia, co-founder of the bookstore I AM Books. "It's work we do on a daily basis through the bookshop, but we want to reach an even wider audience with the festival". The numbers speak for themselves: IDEA Boston presents itself as a unique festival of its kind, with 24 events including presentations, workshops, theatrical performances, and screenings concentrated in two days of action. "We want to offer a window into Italy," explains Orichuia, "but at the same time we want to create bridges between Italians emigrated in recent years and the new and old generations of Italian-Americans".
