Italy has 1.4 million employees and a market share of approximately 10% in the European Union, making it the continent's third-largest logistics sector. For every million euros invested, the sector adds €2.1 million to overall production. The industry will be represented at Transpotec Logitec, an event dedicated to logistics and freight transport, as well as NME - Next Mobility Exhibition, an expo-conference on collective mobility created and hosted by Fiera Milano, which has previewed various upcoming advancements. Over 500 exhibitors will be present in six pavilions, as well as more than 50 talks, spanning four days of discussions among institutions, corporations, and stakeholders, bringing together the whole freight and passenger mobility ecosystem. "Logistics, which accounts for approximately 9% of GDP, ensures the continuity of production chains", explained Sara Quotti Tubi, Head of Energy & Transportation Exhibitions at Fiera Milano.
