(September 21, 2017) To celebrate the European Day of Languages, the Italian Institute of Culture in Pretoria organizes an Open Doors day on 27 September 2017 from 16:30 to 18:30 at its offices in n. 803 George Avenue, Arcadia, Pretoria.
Come: a special information desk will give you information on language courses, Italian language CILS certification exams, bursaries, cultural activities, demo - lessons, 2017 news and more. There will be entertaining and captivating educational activities, video clips and library guided tours to make people aware of its great heritage. Pretoria's IIC Library is a small but unique library with regard to Italian language in South Africa. It consists of about 2037 volumes, most of which cover the fields of art, literature, philosophy, theater and cinema, while the rest is devoted to the teaching of the Italian language available to teachers and students of language courses. There will also be a tasting of typical Italian culinary specialties. (Red)
