On November 24th, the 15th edition of the MittelCinemaFest, the Central European Italian Film Festival, opens at the Lumière Cinema in Bratislava on November 24th. The show begins with "Tenerezza" (Holding Hands) by Gianni Amelio, a work inspired by Lorenzo Maraone's novel "La tentazione di essere felici" (The Temptation to be Happy). The festival was organised by the Italian Institute of Culture in Bratislava with the IICs of Budapest and Prague, in conjunction with Luce Cinecittà Institute in Rome and the Italian Embassy in Slovakia. It will end on November 28th after which it will move to the Czech capital. (Red)
