(15 October 2018) Italy will be the protagonist of an original and unpublished initiative in the context of the 9th session of the Conference of the Parties of the Palermo Convention against Transnational Organized Crime. Today, at the UN headquarters in Vienna, a condensed version of the theatre piece "Dieci storie proprio cosi" (Ten stories as such), authored by Emanuela Giordano, and Giulia Minoli, born from the project "Palcoscenico della legalità" (Stage of Lgeality), which crosses national borders. The project was conceived and conducted by Giulia Minoli with her Non-Profit organisation, Co2 Crisis Opportunity, in 2012 from the encounter with dozens of families of innocent victims of the Mafia, Camorra, organised crime and the protagonists of ransom stories throughout Italy. The piece took them on the stage of major national theatres in front of more than 50,000 students who, thanks also to the virtuous collaboration with leading institutions, associations, and universities that deal with organised crime, participated in a process of education on legality through theater. For this occasion, seven stories of innocent victims of mafia and civic response to the phenomenon of organized crime will be shown in Vienna (including NCO New Organized Kitchen, Lea Garofalo, Antonio Bartuccio, GOEL Cooperative Group, Addiopizzo, Giovanni Falcone and Federica Angeli ). It will be interspersed with fragments from the documentary produced by RaiCinema and JMovie, "Ten stories just like that", by Emanuela Giordano and Giulia Minoli, which traces the stages of the project and tells the many positive stories gathered in recent years.
